Now Offering In-Person Affirming Naturopathic Care in Toronto at Ember and Spark Health Collective
That’s right! I’m bringing my body-neutral, LGBTQ2SIA+ affirming, anti-oppressive wellness to Yonge & St. Clair.
Ember and Spark is a collective of creative, values-led practitioners who really care about creating a safe, affirming space.
It has always been of the utmost importance to me that any space I invite my community into be cozy and affirming for folks who often don’t feel safe in other health and wellness spaces.
You can book your in-person appointment with me here, or read on to learn more about how I’m keeping the space safe and accessible.
Accessible naturopathic care
Ember and Spark is on the 8th floor of a building equipped with an exterior ramp and interior elevators. One exterior door has a push-button door opener. The interior door to Ember & Spark’s unit is not automated. An accessible, all-gender washroom is available in the hall outside our unit.
COVID-safer naturopathic care
Standard infection-control measures are taken between patients, and my office is equipped with a HEPA air filter.
In addition, I have a strict illness policy for in-person appointments - anyone who has acute symptoms on the day of their appointment is asked to switch to virtual. I also promise to switch my appointments to virtual if I have any symptoms.
We encourage but do not require mask-wearing in the waiting room, and provide masks and hand sanitizer at the entrance to our unit.
Neurodiversity-affirming naturopathic care
We encourage clients to remove their shoes/boots in the winter, and provide a bench where folks can do this.
Ember & Spark is a neurodiversity affirming space, and we encourage mindful stimming and use of sensory tools.
Appointments with me are conducted verbally, with written treatment plans made available after each appointment. If you need an alternate communication method, please let me know and we will work together to ensure we are able to communicate effectively.
Please let us know if you have any access needs we can help with - it is your right to have accommodations.
